PENETRATION: THE QUESTION OF EXTRATERRESTRIAL AND HUMAN TELEPATHY

Penetration is a book in three parts: all different but all pertinent to each other.

In the first section Ingo begins his introduction to the spookiest material I have ever read. Here we learn of Ingo’s involvement in Psi research and his introduction to the enigmatic  “Mr. Axelrod”. What follows this introduction is the recounting of an adventure that, if I hadn’t met Ingo, I could believe it was all fabricated. But knowing Ingo as a friend and colleague, I believe him! “Mr. Axelrod” gives Ingo specific instructions that lead to a very weird adventure!

What follows is Ingo’s meeting with contacts in Manhattan, being blindfolded and taken to an underground location. Here he meets “Mr. Axelrod” and is tasked with a very unusual remote viewing session – to view the back of the Moon! What he perceives and thinks about this experience, I will leave for you to discover!

Ingo goes on to write a middle section exploring current ideas: both speculative and factual about Earth’s Moon. He explores myths and legends as well as modern rumors regarding this natural satellite. "Or is it so “natural” he asks?

I was reminded of a meeting I had with John Lear when I moved to Las Vegas, NV in the early 1990s. John contacted me and invited me to his large house, situated just under Frenchman’s Mountain, overlooking Las Vegas. To describe John as an eccentric, is to ignore his service flying helicopters for the CIA and his research into observable structures on the Moon. On clear evenings he would be out with his powerful telescope, looking for new verifiable information.

What was even more spooky was when John brought out photos of the Moon’s observable surface, that he had collected from NASA over the decades. What was interesting was that there were big differences between the early photos and more modern versions. In the early photos could be observed very definite anomalous structures, while in the later photographs of the same areas, the structures had disappeared (been “whited out”?)  - it was certainly intriguing. Reading of Ingo’s remote viewing of the Moon, with Mr. Axelrod brought back memories of John Lear’s findings.

Finally, in his last section of Penetration, Ingo explores the concept that the Human mental ability known as telepathy has been actively discouraged by many authorities: the church, the government, skeptics! However, telepathy has been portrayed as one of the most robust of the paranormal abilities and is even brought out as “evidence” by some skeptics for other paranormal events!

Even considering Ingo’s adventures with Mr. Axelrod, there was a later event that could have been written by a science-fiction author BUT, I have been assured, there was a reputable individual at the event who witnessed the incident. Ingo, Mr. Axelrod, military “spooks” and observers were taken to a location overlooking a northern lake. During their observations, a UFO-appearing vehicle hovered over the lake, sending out powerful, energy waves.  It seems that Mr. Axelrod’s team had been spotted, and they had to make a hasty retreat. What intrigued me was that when Ingo asked “What was that?” Mr. Axelrod revealed why they were there, hoping  that Ingo would tell them what “it” was!

Each of these three major sections could have been a separate book but as Ingo writes in the Preface: Why is it that governing societal factors need to deconstruct provable existence of at least some vital Psi phenomena - is something that needs to be examined and understood. Ingo writes how such factors as telepathy could disable, even destabilize, some established social institutions, as their “secrets” were revealed.

I have begun to understand that society, particularly American society, is a layered one. The large bottom layer is comprised of “everyday” folk who have seen UFOs, experienced telepathy and other psi phenomena, and understand that what they have experienced is real.

An upper layer consists of individuals from the sciences, politics, research: individual who have both access to “information” about Psi topics, as well as having verified experiences themselves. I worked for such an individual, a high-level businessman, for nine years and came to understand this layered model.

In between the lower Pragmatic layer and the upper Privileged layer is another layer comprised of Education, the Sciences, and Religion. Education teaches children to ignore their own intuitive abilities and rely on “facts”, Science tells us that there is no “proof” of Psi phenomena, and the Church tells us it is “of the Devil”. It is a hardy individual who chooses to believe in their own experiences despite others attempting to dismiss their experiences. Ingo was such an individual!
