The Washington Monument, designed by Robert Mills and completed by Thomas Casey and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, honors and memorializes George Washington at the center of the nation’s capital. The structure was completed in two phases of construction, one private (1848-1854) and one public (1876-1884).

Again my first page is ok (hard, smooth, sloping, hollow, retangle base). then it all goes awry. I should just do 1 page and stop!

Mine didn’t have a single aspect correct as far as I can tell. Not to worry, the point is to keep practicing. I’m getting slightly better at blowing off misses without internal drama. Previously it would tragically hurt my ego but I’m beginning to realize this is for fun and growth.

Your comments about the spiral, the reddish color, the folded/unfolded, the ideogram remind me of the staircase inside the Monument.
Some correlates but also think I got some of Lincoln Memorial (target adjacency)

Very interesting. I got a manmade that was tall centered, like a giant pushed it into the ground with vegetation around it. But I drew it shorter. Then I got another manmade with motion. Lot of fun!
Thanks!
