Welcome to Focal Point

FOCAL POINT target list is not the average remote viewing discussion group. It is available to IRVA members who wish to actively remote view new targets, post their sessions to the list, and participate in group discussions about those results. A new target will be posted to the list every two weeks. After two weeks, the target feedback will be provided, and the list members can upload their sessions and discuss the results. Targets selected will not involve any disturbing or controversial subject matter, and are appropriate for all skill levels. All remote viewing methodologies and skill levels are welcome.

Paul H. Smith, Ph.D., Major, U.S. Army (ret.) will be your group instructor. Paul is the author of Reading the Enemy's Mind: Inside Star Gate - America's Psychic Espionage Program, and served for seven years in the U.S. government's remote viewing program at Ft. Meade, MD. During 1984 he became one of only a handful of government personnel to be personally trained in coordinate remote viewing (CRV) by Ingo Swann. He served as theory instructor for new CRV trainees, as well as recruiting officer, unit security officer, and unit historian. Paul is president of Remote Viewing Instructional Services, Inc., a company offering remote viewing training. He is also a founding director of IRVA, and currently serves as a board member.

Focal Point is moderated and administered by IRVA member and volunteer, Jon Noble. Jon has trained with IRVA advisors Russell Targ and Stephan Schwartz, and has studied basic CRV with Paul Smith. He runs a monthly remote viewing practice group in New York.
